In version 6.0, the Logos Imaging Application uses a non-modal scanner dialog. This allows users to edit existing images and scan new images simultaneously. However, this also means that another modal dialog can come up behind the scanner dialog, effectively locking up the application. The most likely time this could occur is if the user intiates a scan, opens an image for editing, and then closes the image without moving the scanner dialog out of the center of the window. In this scenario, the save image dialog will come up behind the scanner dialog restricting user inputs within the Logos Imaging Application. |
